Grumpy Grandma: Thanksgiving Thoughts
Nov 23, 2016 09:49AM ● By Grumpy GrandmaHello y’all, at this time of year, I like to think about da things I is thankful for and to spread a little inspiration from my thoughts and observations.
Be Thankful for what you got and you’ll end up having more… Concentrate on what you ain’t got and you never gonna have enough. Look around you and be thankful for what you have, appreciate life.
Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.
The Optimist is a person who starts a new diet on Thanksgiving Day.
The Realist is a person who is most thankful for elastic waistbands.
The Philosopher - What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.
Cooking Tip: Wrap turkey leftovers in aluminum foil and throw them out.
Thanksgiving reality: It’s an emotional holiday. People travel thousands of miles to be with people they only see once a year, which is smart, because being around most of them is annoying and you probably couldn’t stand being around them for more than a day anyway.
Hoping your Thanksgiving is filled with blessings and joy.
Au revoir y’all,
Nettie Mae…
