Lafayette City Accident Reports Available On-line

As of August 2017 the Lafayette Police Department established online access to accident reports filed through the city. Individuals involved in an accident now have the ability to view and print their accident report by entering information related to the accident such as their name, accident location and the accident case number. There is a fee for the service, but it's a quick and convenient way to access accident reports 24 hours a day.

Here are some simple instructions for access:

1.      Visit:  https://policereports.lexisnexis.com/ 

2.      Click the search tab

3.      Select the State

4.      Select the reporting agency

5.      Enter accident information
