Jun 21, 2018 09:34AM ● By Staff WriterAs part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Meal
Programs, Lafayette Parish School System will be providing meals to children
for free this summer.
If your child needs a meal this summer, ten public schools around Acadiana will be opening their doors to help. Founded in 1975, the Summer Food Service Program was established to ensure children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. Anyone age 18 and younger may participate; there are no income requirements or registration. Breakfast and lunches will be provided at separate times throughout the day. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
